I had to cut the bathtub in half to get it out. The bathtub is EXACTLY five feet
wide. So is the distance between the studs. With the drywall on, there was not
enough room to be able to remove the bathtub. I was planning on putting in a
better tub anyway, but was hoping to get the old one out intact. Oh well.
I am not looking forward to putting the replacement in.
I have no idea what the Xs are for. The little trashcan is to catch the slight drip
from the cold water shutoff valve. I have a permanent fix in mind for that, never fear.
Hang on. What the heck is that? EWWWWWWW!
