Here's the floor where the water was leaking under the linoleum. It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but it had some water damage. I could dig into the wood with my fingernails. I've cut around the damaged parts in a vague Utah-shape.

When I pulled up the old wood, I discovered that that whitish patch next to the toilet
flange was a previously patched section of floor. I fixed that while I was at it.
