I put this here just to horrify anyone reading this that, unlike me, knows what they're doing.

This is the tile that fits around the window. It's just a test fit. See all that masking tape? That's what's holding the tile up. Don't sneeze. The boxes in the window are to keep the camera from underexposing the picture.
Could have sworn I took more pictures at this point. Oh well.

Back wall, all finished up. I also set the marble along the top edge, and along the outside of the shower. You can also see the cutouts in the corners for the shelves. The nice purple walls are courtesy of the Architectural Review Board. We had some purple paint left over from Moira's loft bed. It looks good. The wall texturing turned out even better than I thought it would.

Here's looking the other way. Don't worry, we're going to paint that molding around the door. I've been making up a lot of this as I go along. A disadvantage of this is that sometimes things don't quite fit. Case in point: the outlet and light switch. See how they're right in the middle of the marble? I had to cut some more marble to fit over them to support the cover plates.
Since the wall is painted, let's put the old light fixture back up. I can use more light in there.

Oh Hell no. No no no.

Ok, that's much better.
There was a secondary reason for replacing that light fixure, besides its general craptacularity. I hooked it up, and it worked fine, and I start putting masking tape on the marble to protect it from the grout I'm getting ready to apply. Then Wendy tells me the outlet in the downstairs bathroom isn't working. Ok, no problem, just reset the GFCI outlet in the garage that controls the outlets in all three bathrooms. That doesn't do anything. I start getting paranoid, and disconnect the outlet in this bathroom. Still nothing. Then I get a little jolt from it, even though there shouldn't be any power there, and realize that something must be shorted in that light fixture. My wiring? Worn insulation? Who knows. I remove it, but resetting the GFCI still doesn't do anything. It would reset, and hitting the test button made it pop back out again, but current would not flow through it. I wound up having to replace that GFCI outlet. Spent the whole afternoon messing with that, and mounting the new fixture.
Now to grout.
